Our Fatigati group of companies roots date back to the year 1957. A small iron workshop founded by four brothers in the east end of Montreal, who immigrated from Italy. Ths shop started fabricationg stairs, balconies, and ornamental work. In 1964 the shop was transformed into steel and plate works. It was not until 1972 that we purchased our first cut-to-length line. It was with the purchase of our first slitter in 1989 that Fati Steel was created. Since then Fati Steel grew into a leading manufacturer of quality slit edged flatbars and steel blanks. In 2007 Fati Steel moved into a new 160 000 sq ft building in the beautiful south shore of montreal. Two years later we added more value to our product line by installing a state of the art Tube Mill. Today with the second and third generation we keep planning ahead for further growth and development. We are constantly adapting our capabilities in order to provide excellent quality and service.
